Constant chemical dosing for a defined process duty
SEKO Tekna AKS pumps may fit water-treatment duties when the required flow and backpressure fall within a verified model envelope and the wetted materials suit the chemical. They do not determine the chemical dose or replace process design.
In membrane pretreatment and RO systems, a dosing pump may support coagulation, pH adjustment, antiscalant addition, dechlorination or cleaning preparation. The chemical program, injection point, duty/standby philosophy and controls should be evaluated with the complete system.

The applications below are selection examples, not SEKO performance guarantees. A chemical-dosing calculation and compatibility check remain necessary.
Moderate-flow, higher-pressure duties
Published family size: 7–18 l/h, up to 16 bar. It may be reviewed where a moderate dosing flow and higher discharge pressure are required.
Higher-flow, lower-pressure duties
Published family size: 20–110 l/h, up to 5 bar. It may be reviewed for higher-flow dosing into a suitably low-pressure point.
Process connection
Where dosing supports membrane systems
- RO pretreatment: antiscalant, pH adjustment, coagulation or dechlorination when required by the design
- Water reuse: conditioning chemicals selected around the end-use and downstream process
- Industrial wastewater: defined reagent addition within physicochemical or biological treatment
- Industrial RO and seawater RO: complementary chemical-control equipment, not part of the membrane element itself
When not suitable
Do not select by model name alone
The listed AKS models should not be selected when the chemical compatibility, required operating point, control logic or installation environment is unverified. Pulsation control, degassing, hazardous-area requirements, duty/standby redundancy or proportional dosing may require a different configuration or pump family.
